I hope you were able to enjoy the extra hour today due to daylight savings! Here is what we covered last week!

Week 12 Spelling Focus:

Spell plural forms of words
The class enjoyed their first board game party this week!
In Culture class, we discussed Veteran's Day!

In Public Health class, the class listened to a Read Aloud of The Girl Who Never Made Mistakes.

*Attached is a copy of the calendar below. Please help your student read through and complete the tasks. There are 5 free spaces that they can choose what to do. Examples include - having a 10 minute dance party, helping with a sibling, waking up earlier than usual, etc. This is due the first week of December. 15 squares colored will receive 5 treasure chart points, 10 squares will receive 3, 5 will receive 2 points.

*Attached is a copy of the Homework page I sent home with your students. Please have them choose 3 activities to do each week based on the spelling packet given, we are currently working on week 10. If they do not complete their spelling packet in class that is also homework. This will be due every Thursday.

If choosing an activity like "Good clean words" or "Out Loud" - simply have them write out the date and time it was completed.

*If you have not already, below is also a link for our Parent-Teacher Conferences which will take place on Monday 11/22 from 2pm until about 3pm via Zoom. Please sign up for any available time slot. If the times listed do not work for you, please feel free to contact me to find a time that does.
